Innovaccer & Mastek launch healthcare AI partnership

Innovaccer and Mastek have formed a strategic partnership focused on healthcare AI across the US, UK, Europe and the Middle East.

The companies will combine Innovaccer's healthcare AI platform with Mastek's healthcare transformation delivery work, including more than two decades of NHS projects.

The partnership targets a longstanding problem for healthcare providers and related organisations: patient, clinical and operational data often sits in separate systems, making it harder to create a complete view of patients and use information across services.

As healthcare groups look to expand AI in routine operations, the partnership centres on data integration and governance. The work will focus on linking fragmented datasets, improving patient access and creating data structures that can support AI in administrative and operational tasks.

Under the arrangement, Mastek will deploy and adapt Innovaccer's healthcare AI applications in existing and new markets. Innovaccer's platform is designed to provide interoperability, governance and the infrastructure for AI agents used in those deployments.

The platform is used across revenue cycle management, population health, value-based care, patient access and operational workflows. The agreement also combines Mastek's work in platform migration, digital front door services, AI-based chat and conversational agent deployment with Innovaccer's AI agents for scheduling and referrals.

UK focus

In the UK, the deal builds on Mastek's record of delivering technology programmes for the NHS. That gives Innovaccer a route into a market where healthcare providers are under pressure to modernise data systems while improving patient access, service coordination and back-office efficiency.

Mastek operates in more than 40 countries and has more than 4,700 specialists. It says it serves more than 275 healthcare and life sciences customers globally, including providers, payers, pharmaceutical companies, medical device companies and public health organisations.

For Innovaccer, the partnership supports its expansion in the UK and Europe by adding Mastek's established delivery presence and sector relationships to its footprint in the US and Middle East. For Mastek, the agreement adds a healthcare-focused AI platform to its existing work in data, AI and digital transformation.

The arrangement also places Mastek in Innovaccer's Platinum GSI programme, a partner group of global systems integrators that build delivery practices around Innovaccer's Gravity platform for large healthcare AI projects.

The tie-up reflects a broader trend in healthcare technology as suppliers try to move beyond isolated software deployments into wider data integration and workflow automation. In practice, many hospitals, health systems and public health bodies still rely on a mix of legacy systems that do not share information easily, limiting the usefulness of analytics tools and newer AI applications.

That challenge has become more visible as interest in generative AI and automated agents has spread across healthcare administration. Providers are exploring tools for patient communication, appointment management, referrals and other operational processes, but the value of those systems depends heavily on the quality, accessibility and governance of the data behind them.

By combining a healthcare data platform with a systems integrator that has longstanding NHS and public sector experience, Innovaccer and Mastek are trying to address both sides of that equation: the technology stack and the practical work of rolling it out across complex organisations.

Mastek was founded in 1982, while Innovaccer has built its business around data unification and AI tools for health systems, payers, governments and life sciences organisations. The partnership is intended to help healthcare organisations apply AI more widely across administrative and operational workflows.
